Great political start.

Now how about some real action. Eliminate double dipping by our representatives. You work for us in ten different positions, you get one pension, after you really retire.

My opinion on this includes both state and federal “civil servants”.

In the same arena is the elected person that only serves one term, that should not entitle them to any pension at all. There should be a minimum requirement on years of successful service to qualify.

Same applies to healthcare coverage.

“Late Monday night the NYS Assembly passed a bill that would place a six month moratorium on hydraulic fracturing on all natural gas wells in NYS.”

Not true!

The first sentence of this bill clearly states:

“There is hereby established a suspension of the issuance of new permits for the drilling of a well which utilizes the practice of hydraulic fracturing for the purpose of stimulating natural gas or oil in low permeability natural gas reservoirs, such as the Marcellus and Utica shale formations.”

Current permits for wells are not affected!

How much money would the state save if:
1. It didn’t provide transportation for relatives of inmates on visiting day. Millions???
2. It didn’t send inmates to the hospital every time they fake some kind of condition, when some of these prisons have working hospitals and doctors on payroll???? Again Millions????

Your endorsement of Cuomo is a huge slap in the face to businesses across the state. Cuomo is a career politician and has not been in business. What an obscene choice to throw your weight in favor of.

No, Carl Paladino is NOT a polished speaker with years of PC and a famous father. He is a person who worked his way up in BUSINESS and he was assaulted at your event in Bolton’s Landing by a reporter who should have been ushered out by the Business Council’s own security for his verbal attacks.

You chose the WRONG year to pick sides and the WRONG gubernatorial candidate.
