Sonia Lindell is manager of government affairs at The Business Council. She was hired in April 2011 as a communications specialist, a position that involved researching and analyzing economic data for the Public Policy Institute and assisting with internal and external communications. In December 2012, Sonia transitioned to the government affairs department, and will work on The Business Council’s Workforce Development Committee and its reinvigorated Education Committee.
Prior to joining The Business Council staff, Sonia worked in a variety of roles with the New York State Assembly, which included regional coordinator, press officer in the Assembly press office, and chief editorial writer for Communication and Information Services.
Lindell received a B.A. in psychology from the State University of New York at Albany. She resides in the Center Square neighborhood of Albany.
